An Open Letter to
Harvest Church

Dear Brothers and Sisters at Harvest,

Over 25 years ago, Pastor Ron and Sue Rockwell answered a call from the Lord. They were led to the west side of Phoenix, Arizona — and they came. They didn't come to a large congregation or an established building. They came with faith, obedience, and a small group of believers who were willing to trust God alongside them.

What has grown from that beginning is something remarkable. Today, Harvest Church is a large, vibrant community of like-minded Christians — men and women who love the Lord, love their families, and love one another. And within that community lives an extraordinary wealth of skills, talents, and desires. Builders and business owners. Teachers and tradespeople. Healthcare workers and entrepreneurs. Artists and administrators. Every gift represented. Every calling present.

A Blessing We Haven't Fully Unwrapped

I believe we have been blessed to be part of this congregation. But I also believe there is a blessing within our community that we have not yet fully unwrapped — the blessing of one another's work.

Think about what it would mean if every member of Harvest knew where to turn when they needed a plumber, a financial advisor, a contractor, a doctor, a real estate agent — and that person was a fellow believer. Someone whose faith you already know. Someone whose character has been shaped by the same Word. Someone who will treat you not just as a customer, but as a brother or sister in Christ.

The Need for a Better Way to Connect

Right now, that connection happens by accident — a conversation after service, a mention in a small group, a word passed through a mutual friend. It works sometimes. But it doesn't work consistently, and it doesn't reach everyone who needs it.

What if we had a better way? What if every working professional, every business owner, every tradesperson at Harvest was listed in one place — a directory built specifically for our community — so that when a need arises, the first place anyone looks is among their own?

That is exactly what the Christian Brothers Referral Network is designed to be. A simple, free directory of believers committed to one principle: when I need a service, I look here first. When I can refer someone, I refer a brother or sister.

An Invitation

I am personally inviting every member of Harvest Church to join us. It takes five minutes. It costs nothing. And it means that the next time someone in your congregation needs what you offer — your name is already there, waiting to serve them.
